Meet the Team

This week, we’ve asked one of our dedicated team to share details about her day-to-day life here at Cluer HR – meet Dawn!

1. What is your full name and title at Cluer HR?
Dawn Morris. I’m a HR Adviser.

2. How long have you been at Cluer HR?
I joined Cluer HR in December 2015, so I’ve been here for over 2 and a half years now – I don’t know where the time has gone!

3. What is a day in the life of your job role like?
First and foremost, my role involves supporting our client base with any HR issues they may have, ranging from timekeeping and absence management to redundancies and restructuring. Each day is different and may involve a client visit or preparing a range of support documentation to assist the client in managing the employment relationship.

4. What is the most exciting aspect of your job?
You never know who’s going to be the next client to phone or email with an issue, and what that issue may be. It keeps you on your toes!

5. What did you do before joining Cluer HR?
I was HR manager at an IT company in Worcestershire. I had been there for over 20 years before I decided to leave. I took the opportunity to take a break from work before joining Kirsten at Cluer HR, working on a part-time basis. I can honestly say that it’s been the best decision I’ve made!

6. Is there anything exciting you’re working on at the moment?
Helping to resolve any issue with a client is exciting in its own way, particularly when you achieve a positive result and the client is truly grateful for your help and support. It makes it all worthwhile!

7. And finally, what do you enjoy doing outside of work?
My husband and I love the outdoors and regularly travel to Snowdonia to enjoy walking in the national park with its wonderful views. When I’m at home, I enjoy nothing more than pottering around in the garden.
